Dr. Daniel Gauerke
Daniel L. Gauerke, O.D. is a 1974 graduate of Waupaca High School. He attended UW-Oshkosh for two semesters and graduated magna cum laude from Carthage College, Kenosha, WI, with a B.A. in Biology in 1979.
Dr. Gauerke received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1983 from Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, IL. Upon graduation and state licensing he practiced in the Milwaukee area. In 1985 he relocated to Waupaca and acquired the Waupaca satellite office of Broadway Optical in Stevens Point. In 1992 the name was changed to Broadway Vision Center to better reflect the scope of services and in 1996 the office relocated from Main Street to the present Waupaca Woods location.
Dr. Gauerke practices general eye care for patients of all ages. He is a member of the American and Wisconsin Optometric Associations, and the Ocular Nutrition Society. Dr. G's other interests include golf, curling and general outdoor recreation.
